| I never had the intention of "using" him for information. I went there with full intention on purchasing every part on my list. When he gave me the quote I decided to use another source. Possible scenarios: 1) I buy from him because he is commissioned and I feel bad for taking five minutes from his day for him to do his job. Taking this route would have lost me alot of money, but I guess would have made you happy. 2) I go to the dealer and get the information with full intent on purchasing through them. I receive an unsatisfactory quote so I take the information he gave me and throw it out because since i didn't purchase the parts through him I have no right to use his information to source the parts from a cheaper location. 3) I do what I did. I save money, and I get all the information I need. His job is not to make money, it's to assist customers and solve problems. I am a customer as I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of parts from them in the past year, so he did his job and there was no one else waiting so I didn't steal anything from him. Again, he was a fine salesperson he was just charging too much for a product that I could get much cheaper somewhere else, so I went somewhere else.
